Hello my name is Chantrell and I’m a local Olympia golf coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 25 years of teaching experience! I am also a PGA Certified Golf Professional and a TPI Certified Golf Professional. I started golfing when I was 4 years old and I have played golf my whole life. My Dad (Bruce Alexander) was a teaching pro and taught me the wonderful game of golf. I not only grew up in a golfing environment, but I eventually assisted my Dad while he was teaching. When I was 15, I worked with special needs children and it was then that I really found my love for teaching golf.
I went on to play golf all throughout high school. In 2010, I drove from Oregon to Arizona with my son (Robert) to pursue my golfing career and worked at Desert Mountain where I was introduced to TPI (Titleist Performance Institute). In 2011, I worked at Great Eagle Golf Course where I met the Player’s Club. From 2013-2018, I worked at Reid West Golf Academies where I was given a platform to perfect my teaching skills and was able to develop a variety of programs for both juniors and adults of all levels. My most prized experience was taking the Valley Vista Girls Golf Team from just beginners to district champions and on to state from 2014-2018. In 2019, I assisted with the Desert Mashie Junior Golf Program and also started my own golf academy (CA Golf Academy) which is located right here in Surprise at Great Eagle Golf Course. My passion is to grow the game of golf! I teach golf lessons in the Olympia area over at Airport Golf & Batting Center and I do not do any traveling at this time to other locations.
