About Hugh
Hi my name is Hugh and I am a fun, local Los Angeles golf coach with over 25 years of playing experience! I am originally from the Bahamas and grew up in a junior golf program since the age of 10. I played golf and traveled in both the United States and the Caribbean competing in tournaments as a child. I love to share my knowledge of the game not matter where you find yourself on your golf journey! I am also the SCGA (Southern California Golf Association) Head Golf Instructor with junior golfers for the Southwest Los Angeles region.
I am offering private golf lessons, semi-private golf lessons, group golf lessons and playing golf lessons for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your drive, long game, short game, chipping or putting-I would be happy to help you!
I currently teach golf lessons in the Los Angeles area at Rancho Park Golf Course by Culver City, Chester Washington Golf Course, Griffith Park/Wilson & Harding Golf Course, Trump National Golf Course, The Lakes at El Segundo Golf Course (Top Golf), Los Feliz Golf Course, Van Nuys Golf Course, Alondra Park Golf Course, Westchester Golf Course and The Penmar Golf Course (please note that any travel over 10 miles for golf lessons is subject to additional travel charges).
