About Alberto

Hello my name is Alberto and I am a local Loganville golf coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 10 years of teaching experience! I am also a USGTF Certified Golf Coach and was born in Santo Domingo located in the Dominican Republic. I am the son of one of the greatest Dominican athletes ever, Mr. Alberto Torres De la Mota, nicknamed El Gringo, who was the first Dominican athlete to participate in the Olympic Games-specifically the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan in 1964 as a sprinter. From the age of seven, motivated by my father, I began to be interested in the game of golf and began to really develop as a player. Throughout all my years as an amateur and professional golfer, I have won around 20 total championships.

I have excellent golf instruction skills and an open, close and friendly personality. I am clear about what lies beyond the technical aspects of the game and I firmly believe in instilling fundamental values such as discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship in all of my students. Throughout my career as a golf instructor, I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages and skill levels. Each student brings a unique set of challenges and goals and this causes me to constantly look for innovative ways to adapt my teaching methods to meet each person’s unique needs-whether it’s improving their swing mechanics, improving their mental game or just to develop with a very strategic approach, I am dedicated to helping my students develop their full potential to the best of their ability. Golf is not just a physical sport, it is a mental and emotional journey that teaches valuable life lessons and strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment in which all of my golf students can thrive both on and off the course.

Golf has been my lifelong passion and this makes me grateful for the opportunity to combine my love of the game with a desire to help others succeed. Whether you are a beginner looking to take your first swing or an experienced golfer looking to hone your skills, I am here to guide you on your journey to becoming the best golfer you can be. I am offering private golf lessons, semi-private golf lessons, group golf lessons and playing golf lessons for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your drive, long game, short game, chipping or putting-I would be happy to help you!
