About Matt

Hello my name is Matt and I am a local Boca Raton golf coach with over 49 years of playing experience and over 36 years of teaching experience! I have also been a PGA member for 32 years and have been both a head golf professional and teaching professional. But that doesn’t mean I think I know it all. I still study and also learn new things every single day. Helping people to improve and enjoy the game more is my passion. I have coached players who are currently on the PGA Tour, European Tour, LPGA Legends and various mini tours. I also take pride in my beginners, low handicap, mid handicap and high handicap golfers who want to improve. I’m more than just a golf teacher, I coach golf in all phases of the game including course management, mental skills, club fitting and equipment issues. I use biomechanics to create your physical matchups to maximize your ability to maximize clubhead speed while controlling the clubface in the easiest way for you to swing a club. You will hit the ball longer, straighter and more solid than ever before. You will also putt the ball with more accuracy and better speed control than ever before and chip, pitch and hit bunker shots with great confidence and precision.

I can help you learn to break 100, be the best in your weekly golf foursome or compete at the highest levels of amateur or professional golf. For 22 years, I coached Division 1 college golf where I always had access to all of the most up to date knowledge and technology in the industry. For the last two years, I’ve been teaching at Don Law Golf Academy where we help players from beginners all the way to professionals that include 8+ world championships and dozens of college scholarships. You are assured of getting the most up to date knowledge, much of which confirms what the greats of yesteryear did to be great champions. But now we have the ability to measure and know we are giving you the best information customized to you!

I am offering private golf lessons, semi-private golf lessons, group golf lessons and playing golf lessons for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your drive, long game, short game, chipping or putting-I would be happy to help you!

I teach golf lessons in the Boca Raton area at Don Law Golf Academy located at Osprey Point Golf Course and I do not travel at this time.
