I won a high school state golf championship, have qualified for a few professional golf events and I am currently a +1 handicap. Hello my name is Chantrell and I’m a local Surprise golf coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 25 years of teaching experience! I am also a PGA Certified Golf Professional and a TPI Certified Golf Professional. I started golfing when I was 4 years old and I have played golf my whole life. My Dad (Bruce Alexander) was a teaching pro and taught me the wonderful game of golf. I not only grew up in a golfing environment, but I eventually assisted my Dad while he was teaching. When I was 15, I worked with special needs children and it was then that I really found my love for teaching golf.

I went on to play golf all throughout high school. In 2010, I drove from Oregon to Arizona with my son (Robert) to pursue my golfing career and worked at Desert Mountain where I was introduced to TPI (Titleist Performance Institute). In 2011, I worked at Great Eagle Golf Course where I met the Player’s Club. From 2013-2018, I worked at Reid West Golf Academies where I was given a platform to perfect my teaching skills and was able to develop a variety of programs for both juniors and adults of all levels. My most prized experience was taking the Valley Vista Girls Golf Team from just beginners to district champions and on to state from 2014-2018. In 2019, I assisted with the Desert Mashie Junior Golf Program and also started my own golf academy (CA Golf Academy) which is located right here in Surprise at Great Eagle Golf Course. My passion is to grow the game of golf. I teach golf lessons in Surprise at my own golf academy located over at Great Eagle Golf Course and I do not do any traveling at this time.

Hello my name is Mike and I am a local Paso Robles golf coach with over 43 years of playing experience! I have over 35 years of teaching experience and I’m a certified First Tee Golf Coach. I was introduced to the game of golf at the age of nine by my best friend’s father. I was hooked immediately! While growing up, I played several competitive team sports: baseball, football, basketball, hockey and swimming-but my focus always returned to golf. I quickly learned how other sports I played helped my golf game. I loved the personal challenge of golf, from the different golf courses to playing with different people. I just loved how every round of golf was unique. I loved the game. Then at the age of 15, I got my first job at a golf course (Shoreline Golf Links) located in Mountain View, California and had various responsibilities.

I then decided to work in the golf industry or recreation, so I moved over to San Luis Obispo, CA in 1989 to attend California Polytechnic University SLO graduating in 1995 and worked at Avila Beach Golf Resort while going to school. Now that I had my college degree, I decided it was time to focus on my career in golf and by the summer of 1996, I was the Head Professional at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.

I was fortunate to be mentored by 2 great Golf Professionals (Tom Stankowski, PGA 1996-98 and Billy Gibbs, PGA 1998-2011). By the early 2000’s I was a PGA Professional and the Director of Golf at Avila Beach Golf Resort and Blacklake Golf Resort. I then created the Avila Beach Golf Academy with Billy Gibbs, PGA. In June of 2000, Billy and I created the Golf Talk Radio with Mike & Billy Program. We aired live for 20 years on ESPN Radio in San Luis Obispo, CA and Bakersfield, CA. We interviewed many great PGA/LPGA Tour greats.

In January 2012, I started the certification process for the First Tee Junior Golf and Life Skill program. Becoming a part of the First Tee program was life changing working with juniors and also seeing the positive impact the First Tee had on every one of them both in life and golf. I became a Certified First Tee Coach in the spring of 2015-one of my proudest accomplishments! In December 2012 I accepted the Director of Golf position at the Paso Robles Golf Club in Paso Robles, CA. The owner of the Paso Robles Golf Club (Mike Rawitser) just happened to be the PGA Head Golf Professional and Operator of San Jose Muni GC and Santa Teresa GC in the Bay Area when I first started to play the game. The Paso Robles Golf Club is a very special place thanks to Mike Rawitser. I have had many great conversations about golf, the golf swing & life with Mike over the past several years.

On September 1st, 2021 I created MB Golf Academy and that is now my full-time occupation as owner/operator in the Paso Robles area. I teach golf lessons at Paso Robles Golf Club (Paso Robles), Links Golf Course (Paso Robles), River Oaks Golf Course (Paso Robles), Chalk Mountain Golf Course (Atascadero) and also Morro Bay Golf Course (Morro Bay) but will also travel up to 40 miles to a location near you!

Hi my name is Brandt and I am a local San Diego golf coach with over 18 years of playing experience and over 4 years of teaching experience! I’m a former Division 1 athlete and played three years of professional golf after graduating from The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. I played on the Golden State Tour, Dakotas Tour, Florida Elite Golf Tour and the West Florida Golf Tour. I’ve been coached by some of the best in the industry such as Chris Walkey, Brian Lebedevitch, Ron Dizzino and also John Wilson.

I utilize many of their fundamental swing concepts and blend it with my own concepts. I work around the swing that the student has-I do not follow a template and understand that we are all built different. Hello my name is Nathan and I am a local Littleton golf coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience. I grew up playing golf in Northern Colorado but have since moved to Littleton where I now teach golf and I work as an assistant pro. I played four years of high school golf and have been playing casually as well as in men’s clubs since graduating from high school. In my mid-twenties, I attended the San Diego Golf Academy for one year where I studied all aspects of golf. In my golf career, I have worked at both public and private courses. I started teaching golf as a high school golf coach for both boys & girls and continued that for three years. I believe that each golfer’s swing is unique to themselves and there is no one size fits all golf swing. I work with these differences and to help create a swing that is unique to you, giving you the best opportunity to be successful in what you are trying to accomplish in the game of golf. I love working with all skill levels of golfers, some who are picking up a golf club for the first time or others who have been playing for years. Having fun, getting results and instilling a love for the game is what I strive to achieve through my teaching sessions. Golf can be extremely frustrating and complicated, but it does not have to be.
