Hello my name is David and I am a local Rosemead golf coach! I am also a USGTF Certified Golf Professional. I have been playing golf for over 20 years, teaching for over 8 years and I can still say that I am still learning more about myself each time I play and give a lesson. I have helped young golf players & those that are more wise improve their game-but realistically, through playing, coaching high school golf, and teaching, I am helping myself to be the best golf instructor for all levels. When I teach, I want you to be in the moment (mind and body). I want you to be able to see yourself doing the shot and then actually pulling it off and this is why I try to incorporate mental game teaching along with the physical game because you just can’t have one without the other. My motto is “amateurs practice until they get it right, pros practice until they don’t get it wrong” (Harold Craxton).
The key word there is “PRACTICE”-you must dedicate some time to practice but it must be good practice. So let’s get to work-even if you do not have clubs-I will provide you with the equipment you need for your lesson! For brand new players-do not be scared-we will start on the putting green and work our way back to the tee box. For those intermediate and advanced players, we will work on what you need to tweak your game. Improvement comes with practice and playing. If you do not practice what you have learned, then improvement will always just be very slow and you will never improve your golf game.
I am offering private golf lessons, semi-private golf lessons, group golf lessons and playing golf lessons for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your long game, short game, chipping or putting-I would be happy to help you out!
